Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the safety of Americans is his top priority and that he promises to thoroughly investigate the case of the suspicious packages sent to prominent Democratic politicians and the CNN bureau in New York.
At a White House event, previously scheduled to discuss the opioid epidemic, Trump was preceded to the podium by his wife Melania who also condemned the attempted attacks. “We cannot tolerate those cowardly attacks,” she said.
